A portrait of Crispus Attucks

A memorial portrait of Revolutionary War hero Crispus Attucks, created about 1897 by the W.H. Curd Company of Chicago. The caption reads, "The brave soldier of the Revolutionary War, 1770." There's no evidence that this is an accurate representation of Attucks's face and features.
