Marina Sirtis as Counselor Troi in ‘Star Trek: TNG’
Marina Sirtis looks empathetic in her most popular role: as Counselor Troi of the starship U.S.S. Enterprise, on the TV series Star Trek: The Next Generation. The sci-fi series ran from 1987-1994, picking up from the original Star Trek series that aired two decades earlier. Deanna Troi was half-human and half-Betazoid (that's so Star Trek!), which gave her extra-sensory empathic powers that she used to advise the ship's captain and crew. Marina Sirtis was born in 1955, so she turned 32 the first year the show aired.
