The Last of the Rat Pack

Deadpan comedian Joey Bishop has died in California at 89. Bloomberg has the obit.

Bishop was the last surviving member off the so-called Rat Pack, the loose gang of entertainers led by Frank Sinatra.

Sinatra died in 1998, and Bishop outlived all the others: crooner Dean Martin (died 1995), song-and-dance man Sammy Davis, Jr. (d. 1990), and British prettyboy Peter Lawford (d. 1984).
