Nader is Running
Ralph Nader announced today that he is running for president as an independent in 2008.Nader collected nearly 2.9 million votes as a Green Party candidate in 2000, and those mostly-liberal votes are generally considered to have cost Democrat Al Gore the election.
Perhaps Democrats can take heart in 2008: Nader ran again in 2004 and collected only 465,000 votes.

Ralph, you need to bow out of this
race and don't cause another upset.
You were, in earlier years, for the
correct things but now you just seem to be about messing things up. PLEASE stay out.
I wonder how people can decide a runner is just in the race to mess things up for other runners. People vote for the runner they want and it is as simple as that! I am voting for Ralph Nader because I was a young driver when the Corvair's were put on the road and was very glad to see an activist like Mr. Nader fight the hughe auto industry for consumers! This man is for the people and I think "anonymous" is one of the workers for one of the other runners trying to discourage votes for a runner who has potential!!
