More Fingers from Galileo
CNN reports here that Florence, Italy's Museum of the History of Science plans to exhibit what they believe are two fingers and a tooth once belonging to astronomer Galileo.Readers of our loop Celebs Missing Fingers know that one of Galileo's fingers has been on exhibit at the museum for quite some time. Now comes news that a jar containing two more fingers and a tooth, missing since around 1905, has surfaced and been deemed genuine. The museum plans on putting it on display next month.

Galileo's Telescope in the U.S.
One of two extant telescopes used by Galileo is in the U.S. on exhibit. Here's the story.Here's the telescope, which will be on display at Philadelphia's Franklin Institute, part of an exhibit opening April 4th, "The Medici and the Age of Astronomy."
