Christa Miller Biography

Actor

Christa Miller plays Jordan Sullivan, a supporting character on Scrubs, the wry TV hospital sitcom created by her husband, Bill Lawrence. Originally a child model in New York, Miller began getting TV roles in the mid-1980s and re-located to California in 1989. After many guest appearances, her career got a boost when she landed a recurring role on The Drew Carey Show in 1995. She played Kate, a sort-of love interest who was "one of the guys." In the first two seasons of Scrubs (2001-03), she appeared occasionally as the vindictive ex-wife of Dr. Cox (played by John C. McGinley). After 2002 she left Drew Carey for a more regular role in Scrubs. Her film appearances include The Operator (2000) and The Andromeda Strain (2008, based on the book by Michael Crichton).

Extra credit: Her co-stars in Scrubs include Zach Braff and Sarah Chalke... Miller's TV debut was on Kate & Allie (1984-89), a show that starred her real-life aunt, Susan St. James.
