Jane Campion

Jane Campion grew up in New Zealand. She studied film and television in Australia, her first short films gaining international attention. In 1989 she made her first feature film, Sweetie; she won an Oscar for the screenplay of her 1993 film The Piano. She also directed The Portrait of a Lady (1996, with Nicole Kidman), Holy Smoke (1999, with Kate Winslet) and In the Cut (2003, with Mark Ruffalo) .Four Good Links
