Jill Goodacre Biography

Model

Jill Goodacre was the first model to become a celebrity simply by appearing in the Victoria's Secret catalog. Her auburn-haired good looks made her a favorite with readers of the lingerie catalog in the early 1990s. That led to appearances on the David Letterman show and elsewhere, including a 1994 guest spot on the sitcom Friends in which she was trapped with Chandler (Matthew Perry) in an ATM vestibule. She married the singer and actor Harry Connick, Jr. in 1994. They have three daughters: Georgia (b. 1996), Sarah Kate (b. 1997) and Charlotte Jane (b. 2002).

Extra credit: She is also known as Jill Connick and Jill Goodacre-Connick... Her mother Glenna Goodacre is the sculptor who created the Vietnam Women's Memorial statue for the Vietnam Veteran's Memorial in Washington, D.C., as well as the portrait of Sacagawea for the U.S. dollar coin.

Goodacre appears with Elle Macpherson and Adriana Lima in our loop on The Models of Victoria's Secret.
