Mia Sara Biography
Mia Sara was a hit as Matthew Broderick‘s smart girlfriend Sloane in the 1986 high school comedy Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. Dark-eyed and pale-skinned, she started her career on the TV soap opera All My Children and advanced to leading roles in movies like the dreamy myth Legend (1985, with Tom Cruise) and Timecop (1994, with Jean-Claude Van Damme). She later played the heroine Ondine in the 2001 TV miniseries Jack and the Beanstalk: The Real Story and had a regular role in the short-lived TV series Birds of Prey (2002-03). Mia Sara’s other films include By the Sword (1991), 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea (1997 TV movie with Michael Caine) and The Witches of Oz 3D (2010).
