Yamila Diaz-Rahi has modeled extensively in her native Argentina and also in Europe. Her hyphenated last name reflects her heritage: Her father is Lebanese and Spanish, and her mother Spanish.
Diaz-Rahi’s career got a major boost in 1999 when she appeared in the annual Sports Illustrated swimsuit edition. In 2002 Sports Illustrated boosted her again, putting her on the cover of that year’s swimsuit edition. She then appeared as part of a group of eight models on the cover of the 2006 edition of the magazine’s swimsuit issue.
Diaz-Rahi has also has made several appearances in the Victoria’s Secret lingerie catalog, as well as on the covers of magazines like Glamour, Maxim, and Harper’s Bazaar.
