Arundhati Roy ponders

Indian author Arundhati Roy seems to be pondering a question from someone here, or at least she is listening carefully. The photo is undated, but was probably from the early 2000s. (It looks like a nice day!) Roy's Booker Prize-winning novel, The God of Small Things was published in 1997. Arundhati Roy was born in 1959, so she was likely in her early 40s when this photo was taken.
