Actress Danica McKellar (left) with Fred Savage as Winnie Cooper in the 1990s TV show The Wonder Years. The series about being a teenaged kid in middle-class suburbia ran from 1988 to 1993; Savage was the main character, Kevin Arnold, and McKellar played his neighbor and first girlfriend.
At the end of the series, Kevin does Winnie dirty by marrying another woman and having children while she is overseas studying art in Paris. Raw! They should clearly have ended up together. It's not exactly a Harry Potter-Hermione Granger level of mismatch betrayal -- what is? -- but overall, still pretty raw.
