Jamie Bamber and a space chef from ‘Battlestar Galactica’

The rule of thumb about movie and TV events is that the people in the crazy costumes are *not* the stars of the show. That rule holds true here, as actor Jamie Bamber (center) stands next to an anonymous dude who is dressed as a futuristic space fighter pilot or a combat chef or some such. (Those *could* be his chef's knives holstered on his right hip.) Whoever the guy is, the event was the DVD launch of the final season of the space opera Battlestar Galactica at an HMV store on Oxford Street in London, England. The date was June 1, 2009. Jamie Bamber was born in 1973, so he turned 36 the year this photo was taken.
