Everyone loves Jimmie Johnson
Men and women beam at Jimmie Johnson after he won the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Championship for 2009. He accomplished the feat by finishing in fifth place in the Ford 400 at Homestead, Florida on November 22, 2009. Jimmie Johnson was the first driver in the history of NASCAR to win four consecutive championships. That date happened to be the 46th anniversary of the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, but that historical note doesn't figure into the narrative of this photo.
