Natalie Wood

Natalie Wood sings with Richard Beymer in a scene from the 1961 film 'West Side Story.' The film, based on the Broadway play, was a reworking of Shakespeare's 'Romeo and Juliet' -- Wood and Beymer played the star-crossed lovers, Maria and Tony. The film won 10 Academy Awards, including best picture and supporting acting awards for George Chakiris (as Bernardo) and Rita Moreno (as Anita). Woods and Beymer were, alas, not nominated.
