Canadian singer Shania Twain poses on the cover of the the June, 2003 issue of Maxim magazine. Maxim was one of the most popular "lad mags" at the time, with a heavy focus on concupiscence. Shania Twain was born in 1965, so she turned 38 the year this photo was taken. It's not clear, these many years later, why a successful country music star like Shania Twain was posing in lingerie on the front of a magazine with a caption quote of "I make really good soup," but oh well. The early 2000s were a mysterious time.
