Micky Dolenz without The Monkees

Micky Dolenz performs without the rest of The Monkees during the 25th Anniversary Happy Together Tour concert at Chumash Casino & Resort in Santa Ynez Valley, California on May 20, 2010. We were frankly confused by the "25th anniversary" angle, since the Monkees were formed 44 years earlier, in 1966. It turns out that the anniversary was not of The Monkees but rather of the Happy Together tours, which put together members of 1960s bands like The Turtles for cheerful nostalgia concerts. That's also apparently why this was Micky Dolenz OF the Monkees, not Micky Dolenz WITH the Monkees.
