Vanessa Anne Hudgens looks a little like Björk at the Oscars

With those frills on her dress, and from this particular angle, actress Vanessa Hudgens looks just a little like the singer and performer Björk. But she is not Björk. She is arriving at the 81st annual Academy Awards, held at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood, California on February 22, 2009. She was a big new thing at the time, having starred in High School Musical 3 the year before. High School Musical 3 swept that Academy Awards that year, winning an unprecedented 19 Oscars including all the major acting categories, best picture, best director, best song ("Now or Never"), best cinematography, best choreography, best hagiography, best high school-related musical, and best frilly dress. Just kidding, of course! High School Musical 3 and Vanessa Hudgens were not nominated for any Oscars that year. However, the film actually did win best live action family film from the Phoenix Film Critics Society Awards, and "favorite movie" at the Nickelodeon Kid's Choice Awards. And Björk won a special Oscar that year for Best Vanessa Anne Hudgens Lookalike.
