Our Jill Kelley biography is now live.
Jill Kelley put the Gen. adultery story in motion — unwittingly, it seems — by contacting a friend at the FBI about creepy emails she’d been getting. The emails turned out to be from Paula Broadwell, who turned out to have had an affair with Petraeus.
While they were poking around, the FBI also found emails from Kelley herself to another general, John Allen, which have been called “flirtatious.”
Jill Kelley is not thought to have had an affair with Gen. David Petraeus, but she was a sort of military groupie in Tampa. That’s why we have photos like the one above, taken at a Gasparilla (don’t ask) party at her home.
That’s not Kelley hugging up on Petraeus: that’s her twin sister, Natalie Khawam. (From left: Natalie Khawam, Gen. Petraeus, Dr. Scott Kelley, Jill Kelley, Petraeus’s wife Holly.)
We still don’t know why Broadwell was sending those emails in the first place. But now you know why Kelley is being called “the other other woman” in the story.
