Pop star Stevie Wonder is only 58 today.
Normally we find ourselves saying “Wow, can you believe that John Doe is this old already?” But in Wonder’s case we’re saying the opposite, especially since he had his biggest hits in the 1960s and ’70s.
‘Course, he was a prodigy whose first album for Motown was titled Little Stevie Wonder the 12 Year Old Genius. He was born in 1950, along with actor Bill Murray and sneaky politico Karl Rove, among others.
And there’s still some dispute about his original name.
Happy birthday, young Mr. Wonder, wherever you are.
