Our Aishwarya Rai biography has been updated with new facts and photos.
For one thing, it’s the Aishwarya Rai Bachchan biography now. She married fellow Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan in 2007. We had that down already (we’re not that far behind) but we didn’t realize she had formally taken Aishwara Rai Bachchan as her professional name. We’ve updated the biography title accordingly.

Ms. Rai Bachchan took a five-year hiatus before and after the birth of her daughter, Aaradhyai, in 2011. But she made a triumphant return to Bollywood last year, emoting like mad in the thriller Jazbaa.
We’ve added 30 new photos of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan as well, and many of them are fun shots of her surrounded by photographers on the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival.

At yet another Cannes premiere she got a little help from a professional on a windy afternoon.
And in October she was on the cover of Filmfare magazine in India, looking every bit the movie star. It’s been a few years since she was regularly described as “the most beautiful woman in the world,” but she certainly looks like she’s still in the running.
She was Miss World 1994, after all. Quite a career she’s having.
