Jodie Comer Biography

Jodie Comer is the young English actress who was a hit in 2018 as Villanelle, the charmingly psychotic assassin in the television series Killing Eve.

A kid from Liverpool, she began her acting career with the BBC and from 2008 to 2012 appeared in guest roles on TV. By 2013 she was a series regular in the coming-of-age comedy My Mad Fat Diary, playing a supporting role for two seasons.

In 2016 she showed her ability to carry the lead, playing an abductee who’s returned home in the miniseries Thirteen.

That helped her establish a reputation as “one to watch,” and the success of Killing Eve (co-starring Sandra Oh) only made the spotlight brighter.
