Aishwarya Rai knows how to do Cannes

Aishwarya Rai always knows how to show up and show out for Cannes. Here she is at the 2008 Cannes Film Festival in a fabulous strapless gown, perfect makeup (as always) and huge diamond stud earrings. If you can't dress up for Cannes, why even go? Unfortunately, this marvelous display was wasted on the premiere for the film Indiana Jones 4 -- a film which shamed and desecrated the original, Raiders of the Lost Ark, as all its sequels did. They should have stopped with the original, which was just perfect. Aishwarya Rai is also just perfect, and she was blessed with a sequel -- her daughter, Aaradhya -- in 2011.
