“After a few days I received a call from someone at NeXT who asked me to hold the line. Then Steve Jobs came on the phone to tell me that he finally understood what I was attempting to do and that he loved the result and thanked me. As you may suspect, this never happens.”
Photographer Robert Holmgren talks about his experiences photographing an impatient (but not unreasonable) Steve Jobs in the 1980s and 1990s.
Holmgren has posted several memories since Jobs’s resignation as CEO in August. Especially recommended are Steve Jobs’ Childhood Home and Me and Steve Jobs, Part II — the NExT shoot which produced the photo above.
Great stuff.
