Victoria's Secret angel Adriana Lima does the classic model pout for an event titled "What is Sexy?" This was at the Bowery Hotel in New York City on February 11, 2009. Adriana Lima was born in 1981, so she turned 28 the year this photo was taken. 12 years later, the Victoria's Secret company attempted what The New York Times called "the most extreme brand turnaround in recent memory," abandoning the angels in favor of modern-day achievers like soccer star Megan Rapinoe. CEO Martin Waters told the Times, "We needed to stop being about what men want and to be about what women want.”
