Angel Carter waves from the shrubbery

It's just a trick of the camera, but Angel Carter does look as if she is nearly embedded in the shrubbery outside of Le Deux in Hollywood, California. In fact, she was just passing by the shrubs on her way into a birthday party for sisters Alyson and Amanda Michalka, the pop duo better known a Aly and AJ. The date was May 14, 2007. We dig her corduroy jacket! Like you, we are curious about the gold strap around her right wrist, but we can't shed any light on it. Perhaps it's one of those festival-style wristbands indicating that she has been cleared for attendance at the party.
