Angel Carter and Aaron Carter celebrate their twin birthday
Angel Carter (left) and her twin brother Aaron Carter smile for cameras during their birthday party on December 15, 2006. This was at Shag nightclub in Hollywood, California. The twins were 19, having been born on December 7, 1987 -- exactly 46 years after the attack on Pearl Harbor brought the United States into World War II.
Pearl Harbor was the theme of the twins' birthday party, as evidenced by the patriotic American star on Angel Carter's left wrist and the bald eagle tattooed on Aaron Carter's left arm. Angel Carter wears a dress made popular in 1943 by the Andrews Sisters, and Aaron Carter's "jorts" are a tribute to the short pants worn by Marines for jungle duty in the steamy South Pacific. A highlight of the party was Aaron Carter singing "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy of Company C," followed by Angel Carter's dramatic reading of President Franklin Roosevelt's "day that will live in infamy" speech to Congress.
