Aretha Franklin in the 1960s

Here's singer Aretha Franklin sometime in the 1960s -- our photo partners at WENN aren't quite sure of the date. Aretha Franklin was born in 1942, and she was just 18 years old when she first signed with Columbia Records in 1960. She had greater success after she signed with Atlantic Records in 1966, and she also looked a lot more 1960s mod in those years. So based on those facts and her youthful look here, we're going to take a wild guess and say that this photo was between 1960 and 1966, and probably on the early side of that period.
