Barbara Cartland in full romance novel mode

Romance novelist Barbara Cartland poses for a photo at her country home, Camfield Place, in 1994. Dame Barbara was born in 1901, so she turned 93 the year this photo was taken. To be honest, we are loving how Cartland is 100% going for it here, complete with flowing pink gown with sparkles and rosettes, the diamond necklace and bracelet, the masses of flowers, and everything.
