Facts about Ben Shapiro
Ben Shapiro Biography
Ben Shapiro is an American media celebrity who made his name with blunt arguments in favor of conservative politics. Long popular with the right for his tell-it-like-it-is pronouncements, Shapiro is also popular with the left as a steady spring of mock-worthy comments.
A graduate of the University of California at Los Angeles (2004) and Harvard Law School (2007), Shapiro began writing books and syndicated columns while still in college. His staccato, rapid-fire delivery and sarcastic barbs soon made him a viewer favorite on political talk shows.
Shapiro is known for arguing that liberal policies dominate academic and entertainment circles, and that American conservative viewpoints are routinely silenced. In 2017 Shapiro hit the big time by being the object of a protest by college kids who didn’t want him to speak on campus. He’s published more than half a dozen books, appears regularly on television and radio, hosts a popular podcast and runs the conservative website The Daily Wire. He even has a catchphrase: “Facts don’t care about your feelings!”
Ben Shapiro’s books include Porn Generation: How Social Liberalism is Corrupting Our Future (2005), Primetime Propaganda: The True Hollywood Story of How the Left Took Over Your TV (2011) and Bullies: How the Left’s Culture of Fear and Intimidation Silences America (2013).
