Betty White is amazed that Barnes and Noble still exists

Actress Betty White looks amazed (or possibly delighted) during an event for the launch of the season 3 DVD of her show The Golden Girls on November 22, 2005. This was at a Barnes and Noble Bookstore in New York City, which just goes to show how long ago it was. Betty White was born in 1922, so she turned 83 the year this photo was taken. Note White's dog-print scarf, befitting her long association with animal welfare. The Golden Girls, a sitcom about the hilarious lives of four aging women, ran for 180 episodes from 1985-92 on NBC-TV.
