A PR photo of musician Brian Jones, the founder of the band The Rolling Stones, in a photo from the late 1960s. Jones recruited Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts and Bill Wyman into the band in 1962 and 1963, and two years later they were international stars.
Alas, Jones died in the swimming pool at his home in 1969, shortly after being kicked out of the band for excessive drinking and bad behavior. He was replaced by guitarist Mick Taylor.
