Buddy Holly’s gold wristwatch

Here's the watch that was worn almost continuously by Buddy Holly: a 14-carat gold Hamilton wristwatch from 1957. It was being shown at the Rock 'N' Roll celebrity memorabilia Fame Bureau auction at the Orleans Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada on June 2, 2007. That was more than 48 years after Buddy Holly died in a plane crash on February 3, 1959.
