Caster Semenya wins an 800-meter race

Caster Semenya celebrates after winning an 800-meter race at the 12th IAAF World Championships in Berlin, Germany on August 19, 2009. Semenya was later asked to undergo a gender verification test, after rumors circulated that she was really a man. After months of investigation, a panel ruled that she could compete as a woman.
