Desmond Tutu under an umbrella

Archbishop Desmond Tutu sits under a large umbrella as he makes a rainy-day appearance at the UK memorial to the Abolition of the Transatlantic Slave Trade. A sculpture was officially unveiled that day at Fen Court, Fenchurch Street in London on September 4, 2008. Archbishop Tutu was born in 1931, so he turned 77 the year this photo was taken.
