Eric Trump Biography
Eric Trump is the third child of former U.S. President Donald Trump and his first wife, Ivana Trump.
Eric Trump was born in New York City and as a child went to the private Trinity School in Manhattan. Donald and Ivana Trump were divorced in 1992; Eric Trump lived with his mother and went to prep school at The Hill School in Pennsylvania, graduating in 2002. He graduated from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business in 2006 with a degree in finance and management.
After graduation, Eric Trump joined the Trump Organization, his father’s business, rising with remarkable speed to Vice President of Development and Acquisitions. His special focus, according to the company’s official site, has been overseeing “the rapid growth of the Trump Golf Collection.” He also became the president of Trump Winery, a Virginia vineyard first bought by Donald Trump in 2012. His older sister and brother, Ivanka Trump (b. 1981) and Donald Trump, Jr. (b. 1977), also have worked for the Trump Organization.
Eric Trump’s appearances on his father’s reality show, The Apprentice, made him familiar to millions of national viewers during the show’s run from 2004-15. Donald Trump was elected U.S. president in 2016, and served a single term before losing to Joe Biden in the elections of 2020. Eric Trump founded the Eric Trump Foundation in 2006; it raises money for the St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.

Eric Trump married the former Lara Yunaska on November 9, 2014. She is a North Carolina native and attended North Carolina State University. Their first child, a son named Eric, was born on September 12, 2017; in an Instagram post, Lara Trump said the baby would be nicknamed Luke. Their second child, a daughter named Carolina, was born on August 19, 2019… Eric Trump is half-brother to Tiffany Trump (b. 1993, Donald Trump’s daughter with second wife Marla Maples) and Barron Trump (b. 2006, Donald Trump’s son with third wife Melania Trump).
