Errol Flynn, That Dashing Devil
Actor Errol Flynn poses for a publicity shot from the early 1950s. This would have been a few years after one of his last big films, The Adventures of Don Juan (1948). The tiny little moustache was a Flynn signature.
Born in 1909, Errol Flynn fell out of favor in a Sinatra-esque way in the early 1950s. He was returning to form when he died suddenly in 1959 of what the coroner identified as "“myocardial infarction, coronary thrombosis, coronary atherosclerosis, liver degeneration, liver sclerosis and diverticulosis of the colon.”
