Frida Kahlo in 1932

A photo of the Mexican artists Frida Kahlo (center) and Diego Rivera, taken in 1932 by Carl Van Vechten.  Mexican artist Malu Block is at left.  Kahlo and Rivera were married three years earlier, in 1929. 

The photo is now part of the Van Vechten Collection at the U.S. Library of Congress, Prints and Photographs Division. (LC-USZ62-103971)
