Facts about Hailey Clauson
Hailey Clauson Biography
Hailey Clauson was only 20 when she landed on the cover of Sports Illustrated’s swimsuit issue in 2016. Born in California, she began modeling at age 14 and was an immediate hit, appearing in the Forever 21 catalog and in Japanese Vogue that same year. At age 15 she walked in fashion shows for Diane von Furstenberg, Oscar de la Renta and DKNY (which grew into a controversy because she below the age-16 limit for runway models recently passed by the the Council of Fashion Designers of America, or CFDA). Over the next few years her blonde mane, plush lips, Gibralter-sized cheekbones and what New York magazine called her “innate elegance” made her a rising star as she modeled for Gucci, Jill Stuart and Agent Provacateur among many other brands.
Hailey Clauson first appeared in the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue in 2015; the next year she was one of three models who appeared on covers for the 2016 swimsuit issue, along with pro wrestler Ronda Rousey and plus-size model Ashley Graham.
