When Jeb Bush announced in 2015 his run for the Republican nomination for president, his campaign released this official logo: Jeb! with an exclamation point. Supporters said it was catchy and emphatic; critics said it was an attempt to avoid using the last name of Bush, which voters might associate with his brother, former President George W. Bush.
