Jessica Henwick Biography
An English actress of East Asian descent, Jessica Henwick is known for her work in Star Wars, Game of Thrones and the 2016 Netflix-Marvel series Iron Fist.
Her first big break came in 2009, passing an audition for the lead in the BBC series Spirit Warriors. That lead to more British TV, including North by Northamptonshire (2011) and Silk (2014).
Henwick then played X-wing pilot Jessika “Testor” Pavla in 2015’s Star Wars: The Force Awakens, a small role that gave her Boba Fett-like status to fans.
Already on the radar of fantasy and science fiction fans, Henwick cemented her place with a fiery role in the series Game of Thrones (joining the cast in 2015), followed by a co-starring spot in the series Iron Fist, another Marvel Comics franchise for cable television.
