Country singer Jewel wears a clever cross-strap gown for the 3rd Noche de Ninos Gala on May 9, 2009. This was at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California. Noche de Ninos -- that is, "night of the children" -- is an annual fundraiser for the Los Angeles Children's Hospital. Jewel was born in 1974, so she turned 35 the year this photo was taken.
