Here's one of those rock and roll PR photos where the band members try to look brooding and tough. The members of the Jimi Hendrix Experience mostly succeed here, although it's not clear what they have to feel so gloomy about. (That part is never clear, honestly.) The members of The Jimi Hendrix experience are, from left: Noel Redding (bass guitar), Jimi Hendrix (guitar and lead vocals), and Mitch Mitchell (drums). The band played together from 1966-69, and were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1992. Don't be so glum, fellahs, you're headed to the Hall of Fame!
