However, John McPhee was born in 1931, and he won the Pulitzer Prize for General Non-Fiction in 1999, so we're wondering if this photo was taken that year, when he turned 68. He looks just a bit younger than 68 to us here, however. Anyway, congratulations, Mr. McPhee!
