k.d. lang holds a big plastic pyramid

K.D. Lang smiles as she holds aloft a large plastic (or Lucite?) pyramid, the trophy she won at the 20th Annual American Music Awards. She won the award as Favorite Adult Contemporary New Artist. It all happened in Los Angeles a long time ago: on January 25, 1993.
