Kurt Russell smooches Goldie Hawn

The movie was a loose remake of the 1972 disaster film The Poseidon Adventure, with Russell (as "former New York City mayor and firefighter Robert Ramsey") leading a group of survivors as they try to escape from a capsized luxury liner in the middle of the frigid Atlantic Ocean. (Spoiler: Not all of the passengers make it.) Russell and Hawn became partners in 1983, though they did not marry. Their son, the actor Wyatt Russell, was born in 1986.
