Lou Ferrigno as The Hulk

Lou Ferrigno does his thing as the green-skinned Incredible Hulk in this PR photo from the TV series The Incredible Hulk. The show, which ran from 1978-82, starred Bill Bixby as the mild-mannered scientist Dr. Bruce Banner. When under stress, Banner transformed into the Hulk, a muscular, angry and green fellow who would rip engines out of automobiles. (He didn't rip engines out every time, mind you -- that's just an example.) Ferrigno, as a bodybuilder and former Mr. Universe, was a natural for the role.
