Yes, it's true: astronaut Mae Jemison (center front) models a dress by Lyn Devon on the runway for the 'Red Dress Campaign' charity event at Mercedes-Benz Fall 2007 Fashion Week. This was in Bryant Park in New York City on February 2, 2007. That was about 15 years after Mae Jemison first went into orbit aboard the space shuttle Endeavour.
