Maria Sharapova is dressed to attend the world premiere of the movie Wimbledon at the Academy in Beverly Hills, California on September 13, 2004. The movie was a romantic comedy starring Paul Bettany and Kirsten Dunst; Sharapova did not appear. However, as a consolation, she did win the Wimbledon women's singles earlier that same year.
