Donny and Marie Osmond with a weird cake
Marie Osmond (left) and her brother Donny Osmond laugh about a strange cake at the opening night of their show, "Donny and Marie: A Broadway Christmas." This was at the Marquis Theater in New York City on December 9, 2010. They seem to have a good sense of what the cake represents, but it is mysterious to us. Is it an acorn? Are those little sticks of dynamite at the top? The icing script, from what we can see, is a word that begins with "Cm." Is that Welsh? Was their 'Broadway Christmas' show really a tribute to Dylan Thomas and "A Child's Christmas in Wales"? It is very confusing.
